Organic White Pearls

As refined and elegant as their name suggests, White Pearls are a delight to savor. They are grown in Fuijan, China, the home of white tea, and then hand-rolled into pearl-like shapes that display striations of green leaves and white buds. Dry, these white tea pearls have a toasty, sweet, floral, fruity aroma akin to our Organic Ancient Moonlight White Tea. As the pearls open slowly over multiple infusions, they release a more vegetal, smoky scent. Similar to the dry and wet leaves, the golden liquor’s perfume is gentle, soft and sweet with a hint of smoke. A subtle flavor with a light hint of dulce de leche gives way to an aftertaste that is sweet, mellow, clean and refreshing.

As one of the lightest, cleanest-tasting teas we offer, White Pearl makes an ideal palate cleanser for the start of a meal or between courses. It also pairs well with delicate sweets, white grapes or crisp, salted flatbreads.
