Persimmon Tea Caddy with Lid

This tea canister is handcrafted from a single piece of Japanese elm to replicate the shape of a full, ripe persimmon, complete with a twig finial. Open the lid to reveal a snugly fitting interior lid with a peg-like handle. Inside, there is a small, leaf-shaped, Japanese elm tea scoop with an incised leaf-vein pattern on one side. On the reverse, it bears a texture akin to hammered copper. This gorgeous natsume is perfect for display and for summertime matcha rituals.
