These stunning Japanese porcelain cups are a study in contrast. Tactile and earthy on the outside, lustrous and colorful on the inside - they make an elegant and unique tea drinking vessel. The outside is textured by an applique of sand in the finish creating an old world patina. The inside is glazed in hand painted swirls reminiscent of Van Gogh's Irises.
