Personal Gifts

In our years as a go-to spot for luxury gifts and favors here in Beverly Hills, we’ve learned a thing or two about creating fantastic personalized and customized tea gifts. Here’s a taste of what we offer:

• For orders of 25 or more of a particular gift, we will create custom labeling at no charge. This is ideal for commemorating celebrations and for providing personalized gift messages.
• In addition to customizing gift labels, we can customize the gift-wrap and any inserts (such as printed or handwritten note cards) for large orders.
• For a truly unique group of gifts, you can select your own teas for our bento box and gift box gift formats.

Our Story We’ve been a staple of Beverly Hills gift and foodie culture since 2003. Over the years, we’ve won awards for our store design and products, and received accolades from Oprah, LA Magazine, Newsweek and others. More recently, we’ve expanded our online presence to bring our curated selection of fine teas and distinctive teaware to a broader audience.

Our Name

Over time, our international range of products and our overall approach to tea (which includes easy brewing instructions, fun recipes, food pairings and in-store events) have come to reflect a distinctly American style. Our name is an extension of this and reflects our commitment to melding the worldwide cultures of tea for a uniquely American tea experience.

For your convenience, our professional customer service representatives can be reached from 10AM PST - 6PM PST Monday through Saturday and from 12PM PST to 5PM PST Sunday at 866-240-0600. In order to provide the highest level of customer support to each customer, if we are not able to answer your call within 1 minute, you will be asked to leave a message and we will return your call within 1 hour during the above hours of operations.

Shipping Information: We ship via FedEx Ground or USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation, which we email to you confirming shipment of your purchase. On orders over $50 shipping is complimentary. For orders under $50 shipping is $5.95. Overnight shipping is available for $30.00. We now offer 2nd Day FedEx for $15. We are not able to ship via any other method online. Please contact our store directly should you need other shipping options. We can ship to Canada for a $15 flat rate. Gift wrapping is available as an option at check out.

RETURNS/REFUNDS If for any reason you are not satisfied with your selections, prior to opening, you can send it to our On-Line Support department for a complete refund. Please enclose a copy of the invoice with the reason for the return.
