Arare Cast Iron Trivet

Cast in iron in small batches and then finished by hand in Japan, this trivet is a fine example of Japanese craftsmanship and precision. Compared to lesser trivets, it is remarkably sturdy, lightweight and long lasting. Raised dots radiate from its center circle, increasing in size as they near the outer edge. The tomato-red finish is gorgeous alongside any of our black, red, silver or gold tetsubin, or any of or modern glass or porcelain teapots. Diameter: 5”
