Ancient Snow Sprout Tea

Our organic Ancient Snow Sprout is a favorite amongst tea purists (including our sales manager, Anthony). It is laboriously hand-plucked in the ancient Jingmai Mangjing tea forests of Yunnan. Unlike most green teas, it is comprised entirely of the silver tips of these ancient tea plants. Snow Sprout’s huge, velvety buds shimmer with a smooth, even coat of silver-sage down. Their dry aroma is woodsy and honeyed, with a savory note of dried hay. The aromatic brew is the color of unadulterated extra virgin olive oil. The flavor is incredibly pure and nuanced, like a full-bodied white tea. Flavors of wild flower nectar and dried sweet grasses sing out above delicate tones of new forest growth. The finish is moistening and woodsy, a perfectly satiating end to this consummately pristine elixir. This tea is certified USDA organic.
